Manage workspace users

Workspace administrators manage access from Users. Each account has a name, a unique email address, and one of the workspace roles: Admin, Analyst, or Manager. The email address is the user’s sign-in identity.

Add a user

  1. Open Users.
  2. Choose Add user.
  3. Enter the person’s name and email.
  4. Choose Admin, Analyst, or Manager.
  5. Set an initial password of at least eight characters and share it with the user through a secure channel.

Accounts added by an administrator are ready to use immediately. Ask the user to sign in and change their password if your organization’s policy requires it. Do not send a password in an ordinary email or chat.

Find or update an account

Use the search box to find a user by name, email, or role. Narrow the list by role or active status. An administrator can edit a user’s name and role, reset their password, or deactivate/reactivate their account. You cannot deactivate your own account from this page.

Reset a user password

Choose Reset password beside the user. They receive a one-time link and set their own password. The link can expire or be used only once; request another reset if needed. Never ask a user to send you their password.

Access boundaries

Users can access only their workspace’s data. Available actions vary by role; give each person the least access they need for their work.
