Product concepts

DeForsight connects four kinds of information: signals, places, people, and evidence.

Signals​

An alert is a signal that a change may have occurred. Signals have a location, time window, source, confidence, and status. A signal is not automatically a compliance conclusion.

Places​

Suppliers, areas of interest, and monitoring boundaries provide the spatial context needed to interpret a signal. A reliable boundary helps distinguish a relevant change from a nearby but unrelated one.

People​

Users bring accountability to the workflow. Every review is more useful when it is clear who checked the evidence and what they concluded.

Evidence​

Evidence can include satellite imagery, change-detection output, supplier documents, QC fields, and reviewer notes. A good review links the conclusion to the evidence that supports it.

Status is not evidence​

An alert status describes where the work is in the process. It does not replace the underlying observation. Keep the evidence and the decision note together so another analyst can reproduce the reasoning.
